The Standards Committee has prepared a draft of Section 1.00 and Section 2.00 of the “Procedural and Technical Standards” originally adopted in 1994.  The new language seeks to clarify the distinctions between the content of our work (Section 1.00 – Types of Surveys) and the measurement accuracy to which it is conducted (Section 2.00 – Measurement Standards for Surveys).  Section 1.00 also expands the range of described services, introducing the “Limited Boundary” survey to the list.  Monumentation density is addressed in the boundary category.
